I’m currently at Samsung Research America, leading a stealth project to improve human learning. My design philosophy and approach is the result of my personal story: a blend of curiosity, design research and practice in both service and industrial design. I love to design new product experiences, well grounded in coherent conceptual models that balance user needs, market, business goals, and technological innovation.
I love to design products that matter.
I design to connect people, simplify complexity, and inspire social good.
My experience includes research and design for a variety of industries (health-care and wellness, food, robotics, office, collaboration tools, consumer and electronics products) and spans across different technological platforms, including wearables, visual display, mobile, smart home appliances, and robotics.
After my studies at Singularity University I have collaborated with the MIT SENSEable City Lab to develop a project that turned into a robotics company, founded a no-profit to bridge Silicon Valley to young Italian leaders, published several articles about design and UserCentredDesign in Italy, served as board of advisor for several design and startup competition in Italy and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean for a research expedition about plastics. Recently founded Design for X, a non-profit to connect designers and social entrepreneurs to support communities and social change.
